Founded with our family’s first school in 1992 in South Miami Florida, Blanco Family of Schools (BFS) derived from our proprietary curriculum’s successful early childhood education, which encourages children to explore, learn and create.
Accredited by the prestigious Council for Professional Recognition, our teachers are licensed Child Development Associate® (CDA) professionals. They work in curated classrooms designed to foster learning through play and exploration. Our curriculum has been in use for more than 30 years, teaching generations of children.

As a second generation owner, Michael offers targeted experience across business and operations management, with a combination of expertise in strategic planning, accounting, and program development. Throughout his career, Michael has helped organizations improve results by utilizing strategic processes with a customer focus that supports consistent growth.
His successful leadership of the Blanco Family of Schools—also serving as an active investor specializing in early childhood education—has helped pave the way for a top-notch curriculum.
As an entrepreneur, he previously served as managing partner of M. Blanco & Co. LLP—a full-service accounting firm with more than 15 employees—providing tax, accounting and compliance services to a range of clients and organizations. His previous professional experience includes Revenue Agent at the Internal Revenue Service (2009-2013) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (2004-2009).
He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and is a licensed Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
